Every design I do starts on your site. Never a template. I walk the property, look at what's already happy there, track the sun hour by hour, dig into the soil, figure out where the water goes. Only then do I start choosing plants.

Every design I do starts with one rule: right plant, right place. The secret to a successful landscape isn't forcing a plant to survive. It's choosing a plant that wants to grow there. I match every plant to the light, soil, moisture, and space it actually wants, so the landscape gets healthier, needs less maintenance, attracts more wildlife, and thrives with fewer inputs. What you get is a scaled site plan, a complete plant list with the reason for every species, a phasing plan if the project's big, and a written narrative that walks you through the whole thing. You can hand that to any competent installer. Most people want me to build it too, and that's when the design actually becomes what I drew.
