 Breathe Life into Your Land

At Longleaf Design, we turn outdoor spaces into thriving, intentional ecosystems. Whether you're starting fresh, refining an existing garden, or seeking expert guidance, our design, installation, maintenance, and consulting services help you create a landscape that’s both beautiful and rooted in purpose.

Consultation

  • Every great landscape begins with a thoughtful conversation. Our consultation is the foundation of a successful project — it’s where we get to know your space, your vision, and your goals.

  • During this on-site visit, we’ll walk your property together, assess site conditions (sun, soil, drainage, existing plantings), and discuss what’s possible within your budget and timeline. Whether you’re dreaming of a full landscape transformation or just need professional direction, this phase ensures we start with clarity and intention.

  • Consultation Fee: $250
Includes up to 90 minutes on-site. Within 30 minutes of the visit, you’ll receive a clear, concise summary of our recommendations, a rough cost estimate, and next-step options tailored to your needs. If you move forward with a design or installation package, this fee is credited to your project.

Landscape Design Services

A successful landscape starts with a thoughtful, intentional design. Our design package brings your vision to life — on paper and in 3D — so you can clearly see how your space will transform before the first plant is installed.

Each design package includes:

  • A 2D labeled master plan

  • 3D rendered images of your future landscape

  • A custom video walkthrough of the design

  • A photo plant list with recommended species

  • A refined cost estimate based on the final design

Our designs are rooted in over a decade of hands-on experience with native plants, Florida-Friendly principles, and Permaculture practices. Every plan is crafted with care, balancing beauty, function, and long-term sustainability — so your landscape thrives for years to come.

Landscape Installation

Once your design is finalized, we bring it to life with careful, detail-oriented installation. Our team handles every aspect of the build — from bed prep and planting to irrigation adjustments and finishing touches — with a deep respect for your space and the ecosystem it supports.

We install high-quality native plants, Florida-Friendly selections, and a wide variety of edible and medicinal species — from food forests and herb spirals to productive crop rows. Every project is rooted in ecological design and supported by years of experience in Permaculture and regenerative landscaping.

Whether it’s a full transformation or a phased project, we install with precision, care, and a commitment to the vision we’ve created together.

Landscape Maintenance

Our maintenance services are rooted in horticultural expertise, ecological integrity, and a deep respect for your landscape’s long-term health.

We provide specialized, plant-specific care that prioritizes proper pruning techniques, seasonal timing, and organic practices. Every maintenance visit is approached with intention — preserving flower and fruit production, supporting wildlife, and avoiding the damage caused by rushed or mechanical methods.

We do not offer traditional “mow and blow” service. Instead, we focus on detailed, high-quality care:

  • Hand pruning with appropriate tools

  • Organic weed and pest management

  • Soil health and natural fertilization

  • Observations and adjustments based on plant performance and seasonal cues

Because we design our landscapes to be low-maintenance over time, most projects require only 1 to 3 visits per year, depending on scale and goals. We are available for maintenance on an as-needed basis, or by request for seasonal service.

This level of care is ideal for clients who understand the value of expertise and want to see their landscape thrive — not just survive.
