A Riverside Food Forest in Stuart
A ¾-acre riverfront lot with declining St. Augustine turf and no shade. Client wanted year-round fruit and less irrigation.

What we did
We removed most of the turf, mounded planting zones for tropical fruit, and layered native pollinator plantings around the edges. By season two the mangoes and avocados were canopying and the pollinator zone was full of atala butterflies.
